Boat trip to Drottningholm Palace on Tuesday August 18
The King and Queen reside at Drottningholm Palace, and we will go there on two boats on this excursion day.
Drottningholm Palace is on UNESCO´s World Heritage list. It is the most well-preserved royal castle built in the 1600s in Sweden and at the same time is representative of all European architecture for the period. The combination of the exotic Chinese Pavilion pleasure palace, the palace theatre and the magnificent palace gardens make a visit to Drottningholm a unique experience.
Buses depart from Clarion Hotel Sign at 9:00 to the City Hall Quay, where the boats leave at 9:30 sharp. One can also walk there from the hotel. On the way out, coffee will be served. Guides will show us the Palace, and we will have time to stroll around in the park. Lunch will be served on the way back. Arrival at the City Hall Quay is expected at 14:30.
